Expand images and connect Pipe outputs
This week connects more of the work around a generation: preparing inputs, carrying results into another Pipe, revisiting saved settings, and deciding what to keep private or publish.

Expand an image in Transform without stretching the original: adjust the seam and generation mask, then send the prepared image and mask together to a compatible Pipe. The default outpainter saves lossless PNG results and preserves pixels outside the final generation mask, so you can extend a composition while keeping the areas you chose to protect.

When a Pipe produces several results, you can inspect and route its named outputs, including batches, through manual generation or Agent Access. Compose lets you connect a particular output to the next Pipe, collect results in order, or apply a downstream Pipe to each selected result. Downloaded Pipes also retain their intended output order, optional uploads and stage choices, keeping the workflow you receive consistent with the one you reviewed.

Returning to a generation gives you a record of its submitted settings, outputs, feedback, related reruns and engine and custom-node details, with exact JSON export for closer inspection. Saved image details distinguish the image prompt from model choices and prompt-expansion instructions. If part of a run fails, available outputs remain; cancellation and uncertain completion stay distinct. Records survive temporary job cleanup, accepted runs can be recovered after a restart without repeating generation, and large workflows leave less repeated metadata behind.

Publish a selected Pipe from Studio by saving its source to My Desk and opening the publication review. The flow carries the Pipe you selected into review, giving you a concrete place to check it before publishing. Published Pipes can also be added to My Desk and received in Studio for reuse.

Choose separately what to keep and what to share. An opt-in keeps supported original input and output files locally, with visible storage limits. Where the connected Web capability is available, private generation records can reach My Desk and connected Studio profiles. Technical sharing has its own control independent of profile sync, while richer research examples require a reviewed selection and preview. Private-record deletion and research withdrawal have separate controls, and removed material stays removed.

Link an established Studio profile without resetting creative work or pending edits. Large workspace uploads save their progress and resume after interruption, while linking continues in the background with progress and useful errors visible. The saved link survives an expired account session, and supported Civitai and fal connections remain available across authorized devices.

Search Resources by describing what you want to make, including work that combines several workflow steps. Search better preserves the full request and prioritizes the requested outcome. Restored page navigation and page jumps let you continue exploring when the total result count is incomplete, and direct inspector links open the intended resource across catalog pages.

Before trying a workflow, inspect its setup guidance, Guides and dependency tiles together. Requirements retain the selected variant's dependencies and workflow-specific hardware evidence, and storage advice reflects when a file will not fit. A single Network or code badge in Studio and on the website explains documented external-service calls, paid APIs, internet access and supplied-code execution, with sources and unknown coverage visible so you can judge what is established before running a Pipe.

Importing a workflow preserves its existing Pipe identity and inputs, and Pipe selection uses the correct available entries. Extract Pipe appears on an image only while its matching Pipe is missing locally, without losing the image during metadata refresh. As you edit, model choices retain sizes and metadata across custom folders, numeric controls respect supported limits, and relevant help sits beside the controls or appears on hover and keyboard focus. Collapsed sections and validation results survive navigation; node installation status survives refreshes.

Agents can discover and inspect local Pipes without repeated waits when Resources is unavailable. In Agent Monitor, withdrawn submissions clear away instead of leaving approval cards you can no longer use, keeping attention on work that still needs a decision.

Smaller fixes cover everyday housekeeping: moving selected image batches keeps their source order, and backup budgets accept GiB and MiB with feedback beside the controls. On the website, Download buttons land on installer choices, alongside accessibility, Resources theme and navigation fixes.
